About us
The endowment fund’s "L'Imprimerie d'Art de Montparnasse" created in 2011 aims :
- Preserve the lithographic print shop and its unique industrial heritage.
- Save and restore historic printing equipment for use by contemporary artists.
- Protect, conserve and manage the print shop’s archives and lithographic stones for viewing by the public.
- Provide support for training and apprenticeships to ensure that the master printers’ singular expertise is not lost.
- Fund residencies to attract aspiring young artists to the workshop.
